| Video: here you find a fantastic Video Featuring Torch Relay in Malvern Wells at around 09:21hrs on Friday 25th May 2012.
It is quite a spectacle and an exercise in precision timing. That said we had been at the Worcester Cricket Ground the evening before and the torch was almost 30 mins late
and therefore missed the BBC Midlands Live Broadcast AND it started 15 minutes early this morning causing some people to miss it. According to Hereford & Worcester Radio
it was the fact that there were 7 walkers amongst the 1st 21 torchbearers today so the organizers started it early and received a lot of complaints in the bargain.
So if you are going to go and see one get their well in advance and be happy to wait, it is well worth it.
We were lucky enough to be positioned at a changeover point so we were able to see the "Kiss" (where the flame goes from one torch to another) and I noticed afterwards
there was an OTR sticker on the lamppost near to where the "Kiss" took place so look out for those.
One other point to mention is that the torch is carried the majority of its 70 day journey "in transit" (where it is not on public view) so make sure you find a spot where it will
actually be in view and being carried by one of the 8000 torchbearers (rather than inside the van).
Lots of people waited at places between Great Malvern and Malvern Wells and all they saw was a high speed procession of vehicles and no torch.
